Dining Plans 101

Having a dining plan means more than just convenience - it's your key to enjoying craveable meals across campus. With chef-inspired menus, local ingredients, and sustainable practices, your dining experience is as dynamic as campus life.

Your Dining Plan Access

  • Meal Swipes

    Meal Swipes give you access to all-you-care-to-eat dining halls, offering variety of delicious and fresh options for every meal.

  • Dining Dollars

    Dining Dollars are prepaid funds that can be used at any campus dining location to conveniently purchase food, snacks, and beverages. 

  • Meal Exchange

    Meal Exchange lets you trade a Dining Swipe for select menu items at participating campus retail locations, giving you more flexibility on the go.

What is a Dining Plan?

A Dining Plan unlocks delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more, at 12 locations across campus. Your Dining Plan includes Dining Swipes and Dining Dollars, conveniently loaded onto your student ID. No need to carry additional cards or cash! Meal Swipes give you access to our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall, Urban Eatery. 

 

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are funds included in your dining plan that can be used at all Drexel Campus Dining locations. They spend like a debit card, without the possibility of overdraft, but are not redeemable for cash. Dining Dollars may be used in select dining locations during term breaks. Students can add additional Dining Dollars to any plan in increments of 50 Dining Dollars. Dining Dollars roll-over to the next term provided another dining plan is purchased for that term within the same academic year.

 

Guest Meals

Guest meals are meals that can be used to treat a friend or family member to all-you-care-to-eat dining at Urban Eatery

With your dining plan, you receive many benefits and perks, including:

  • Quality food made fresh by our culinary team, with a variety of menu options personalized the way you like

  • Healthy choices available across campus

  • A dedicated allergen-friendly station at Urban Eatery

  • Special events and for dining plan members

  • Casual atmosphere with Wi-Fi, TVs, and music - perfect for studying or hanging out with friends. 

  • To-go meals: Take your meals to go from Urban Eatery!

 

Managing Your Plan

There are three ways you can check your Meal Swipes and Dining Dollars balance:

  • On the DrexelOne app

  • Via the DrexelOne portal

  • By asking a cashier at any dining location

Don't Miss These Dates

Mark your calendar! Each term, important dates like the start of dining plan usage, when to make changes, and deadlines for billing and sign-ups keeps your plan running smoothly.

  • September 13th: Dining Services Begin

    Dining services begins and you may start using your dining plan

  • October 3rd: Last Day to Change

    Last day to change or cancel your dining plan

  • December 13th: Dining Plans End

    This is the last date of service for the fall term.
